About Adal Research
Adal Research is a software research and development studio focused on high-performance systems, infrastructure, and developer tooling. We help teams clarify hard technical problems, validate designs, and ship robust software with fewer surprises.
The work is led by Hamza Hamud, a systems programmer with a background in Chemical Engineering and deep experience in Rust, performance engineering, and distributed systems. The focus is on practical technical outcomes: faster systems, clearer diagnostics, better tooling, and more reliable production behavior.
What We Do
We partner with startups, labs, and engineering teams on projects that need more than straightforward implementation. That includes performance analysis, architecture research, custom internal tools, benchmarking infrastructure, and targeted systems development where correctness and efficiency matter.
Recent work has included high-throughput benchmarking frameworks, runtime and RPC optimization, production debugging, and observability improvements. You can find examples in the case studies.
Our technical work is centered around Rust, with additional experience across Python and TypeScript, plus the tooling needed to support serious production systems, including Docker, Grafana, and Prometheus.
